Hi guys,

When I open the crew report with shift -2 I see a very high temperature on one of my engines.

Normally 200C +.

I can't seem to correlate this anywhere else and not sure if its a bug or reporting something during startup\etc.

Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks,

Chris

Hello Chris,

More information might help zero in on any possible issue here.
What engine?
What was the temperature?
What were the temps of the other 3 engines?
What was the situation? Pre-flight, in flight?, poet-flight?
What was/is the states/condition of your engines in the MH?

I can't recall the spread of engine temps I normally see and I am away from
my sim for a couple more weeks so I can't check.

Remember, with Accu-Sim 'normal' is a moving target :) The engines will
'age', fluids get used and leaks develop. It could be that what you are
seeing, or saw, is a result of a maintenance issue.

Thanks, I think its the cylinder temperature and its reported on the crew report.

Normally see it on level flight but underneath it says everything checks out ok so I guess I am just being told the highest cylinder temperature.

Finally managed to taxi and not hit anything so starting to get to grips with things.

Amazing how it actually feels like a big plane to fly, something you don't get with other add-ons (I guess this could be down to modern technolody on later jets of course) and I have managed to land a few times without the crew complaining.

Ah, yes...the "crew reports" will show the highest CHT even if it is well
within the 'green', as it were.

I use a periodic visual scan of the instruments to check for possible abnormal
conditions. However even then things like a bad cylinder won't show on the
gauges but will show as "engine trouble" in the crew reports, I seem to recall.
