I am in need of desperate help!

I just purchased the B-17 Accusim bundle and I am experiencing a very strange issue. After starting Engine 3 as is outlined in the Youtube video, I repeat the same process for Engine 4. As I attempt to turn on the "Mesh" switch and prime Engine 4 I hear my co-pilot say "You need to turn on engine boost pump..." blah something along those lines. 5 seconds after hearing that my framerates go from 50 to 10. This is the weird part. As soon I as I disable Accusim, my FPS jump right back up to 50. They ALSO jump back up to 50 when I attempt to restart the engine. There is obviously some kind of flood going on either in sound or code from Accusim. I haven't gotten past starting the first engine as this FPS issue is driving me insane!

ALSO. When I attempt to "Auto-Start" engines. The co-pilot repeats over and over and over and over "Engine 1 starting up" and the plane starts rattling and rattling and the sound gets all distorted and then the engine just blows up. What the hell is going on?

I have literally dozens of FSX addons ranging from Carenado, Flight1, PMDG, feelThere etc and have had ZERO problems.

I have un-installed and re-installed both plane and Accusim several times.

I have all the latest drivers for all of my hardware including MOBO, BIOS, GPU, CPU etc. I checked all of those things first before posting this!

Please help and I am eternally grateful to anyone who can shed light on this!

If the engine is blowing up on autostart, make sure you have automixture turned off. Sound like it's on. Additionally, make sure you don't have a joystick axis that is conflicting with the mixture levers.

As Cap mentions, it sounds like your FSX settings are not set as per the manual. Please make sure your settings are correct and then let us know if the issue persists.

Its basicly just auto mixture OFF, full realism sliders set andf advanced animations set to on.

thanks,
Lewis
