Is it possible to release a new texture for the prop in FSX that is not tranparent when clouds are behind it and perhaps alter the canopy that to display the clouds through it rather than blue sky?
I'd also like to say this is a lovely aircraft, thank you.

WOP MUSTANG PROP AND WOP SPIT PROP IN FSX
THE TWO IMAGES WERE TAKEN OF THE WOP SPITFIRE PROP TEXTURE PROBLEM. THE WOP MUSTANG WHICH IS MADE FOR FS9, SEEMS TO WORKS FINE IN FSX. I MOVED THE MUSTANG FILE TO THE SIM OBJECTS/AIRCRAFT FOLDER IN FSX. AS YOU WILL NOTICE IT HAS NO PROP TEXTURE PROBLEMS IN FSX HMMMM. EVEN WITH THE ACCELERATION EXPANSION PACK.
WHY IS THAT??
WHY IS THAT??

The FSX compatibility run has been difficult - it is the sole reason we cannot continue to build new FS2004 aircraft moving forward. Many curve balls have been thrown between the FSX beta, SP1, and SP2. This is not a knock at Aces Studios - it's just the reality of developing a complex flight simulation.
We started this 377 last year and Rob is just on the final lap. The very next project is to go back and create one big service pack for all WWII FIGHTERS. I don't want to give a timeline except to say it is our immediate interest to complete the project at hand and get these fighters 100% for SP2.
Scott.

I still think you can eliminate the problem of the prop thing by eliminating the "disc" to simulate a rotating prop.
As long as the blades are modelled and you're spining the spinner at the required rpm whats preventing the spinning of the actual prop model with the spinner?
B-17II used the prop models and spun the props with the rpms required and their width looks more life like than that thin line disc.
No need for an alpha channel and the like for painting either as the spinning of the blades at rpm will create the disc appearance.
