How come there are no repaints for the Spitfire?

Thanks flying junk. Signed up and got em.

I feel like we're sort of kin as I belonged to a skydiving team call "Air Trash".

I downloaded that one. I love the weathering on it; exactly the way a good Spit should look. Congrats!

P.S.: I'm working on an "Old Crow" for the WWII Fighters P-51D right now... more to come!

I have created on photoshop and are currently using 2 repaints for the spit, one of "AR213" (how it looks restored today) and one of the shuttleworth spitfire "AR501". I'm not going to upload them that's too much of an effort, besides it's likely that the hacker who destroyed avsim is on a rampage  .....any way if any one is interested give me your email adress and i'll send them to you as a zipped folder! cheers

I've just finished packaging an updated version of this paint that I did in 2007 for the FS9 model... this is for the FSX Native model update only and textures are in .DDS form.... I will try and upload it to flightsim.com today.

Would it be possible to make a skin for the Spit of AR213 as it is today as well as how it used to look?

I have made a repaint of AR213 today, but I haven't uploaded it anywhere. If you would like it, I can email it to you.

Unfortunatly AR213 will be grounded this year, and perhaps indefinatly, as the Booker Restoration services that have owned it couldn't get enough funding for it to fly, as due to the current recession, no one will sponsor it as it is a too risky investment.

Thats a shame. Its one of the nicest looking spitfires ive seen. And they did a great job resoting it to original spec. If I had the money I'd sponsor it. I'll PM you my email.
