Spitfire not working correctly in FSX Steam

Post by Hossman »

Dear A2A

I have recently rebuilt my machine and down loaded FSX steam. I have reloaded all my A2A aircraft including the spitfire with accusim. At the momnet when I fire up FSX i have the spitfire sitting on the run way engine stopped. Efforts to try and start engine do not succeed. A trip to the hanger reveals all manner of problems so I select complete over hall and nothing happens, but I can change the canopy? on exiting from the flight I get a window up stating 'Attempt to call a nil Value' It might as well be in agreek, i haven't a clu what it means or why its is displayed. Sesondly on all A2A aircraft ther eis no internal sound of the engine, but the switches do make a sound. External view and all sound is there....any ideas?

Hi Hossman.
Firstly you should never start FSX with a complicated system aircraft such as any A2A aircraft.Use a default aircraft like the trike.
Secondly have you installed the latest updater?Below
http://www.a2asimulations.com/downloads ... _09_16.zip
Thirdly check your simmconnect is working.
Cheers Chris

Hello,

sounds like a simconnect issue. You might want to re-verify your files in steam too.

thanks,
