The A2A Simulations Community

Hi,

Had some main disc problems and now reinstalling my various bit and pieces. However when I try to reload the Spitfire I get an error message saying that there's a problem and I need to reinstall FSX followed by the Spitfire.

Well it's taken me 15 hrs to get to this stage, due to various problems with windows XP etc. Is there a better way round this problem other than reloading FSX thats taken me a few hours just on FSX to get to this point?

Ron,

I can't help further than make a couple of suggestions.

1. Hunt down every last A2A Spitfire file and manually delete it. (also make sure the Spit is NOT your default flight aircraft when you do this!!!)

2. Delete your FSX.cfg file and let FSX rebuild it.

Reinstall Spitfire.


I can't really see how the A2A Spit would require "FSX to be reinstalled" but then I've had quite a few problems with FSX over the years that didn't make much sense!
