Hello,
I submitted this via the support email a couple weeks ago, but will try posting here also.
I've downloaded the new update for the BF109 and am now showing two stationary propeller blades even when the engine is running (see pic).
This went on top of a clean install of the A2A BF109 and the two blades were not there previously.
Thanks much,
Chris

Re: Stopped propeller blades show after BF109 update
Hello Chris,
Can you try a new install please. Install the aircraft and then the FSX patch.
The problem you are having can be an FSX bug, so try a reinstall just in case. Also I blieve the bug was somewhat fixed with SP2 for FSX so make sure you have FSX updated.
Sorry for the delay on the support emails, Scott is getting updated with them today but hopefully this reinstall will fix any issue.
Thanks,
Lewis

Hi.
My first post here, hallo to everyone.
I have the same problem, and I've already reinstalled twice, running the SP2. But the bug's still there
I've already read other two posts about it in this forum but wasn't helpful, for my case. Is it because I've got an old computer? (still windows XP professional, I haven't got vista yet)
Btw, if my case is hopeless never mind for my post here, I can actually fly "unupdated".
Anyway many thanks to A2A team for this splendid work and many thanks to epsillon for his superbe swiss repaint, it was already the one I was looking for
Cheers and sorry for bad english
Dan

Also my first Post. Hello to everyone. Want to start by saying The planes are great. Sadly I too am having this issue with the prop. I'm running SP2 in Vista 64 and have reinstalled the 109 with no change. I will reinstall without the patch and be satisfied with that until there is a solution. I have the P-51 and Coursair as well. All three are superb. Thank you.

Hello Aquilla,
you need to be running FSX SP2. Try that it should cure the problem as its an fsx problem not an aircraft problem.
Let us know how you get on

Re: Stopped propeller blades show after BF109 update
All is well. When I posted that I was using SP2 in Vista 64 I meant FSX SP2. However, I just recently purchased FSX and the interface informed me that I wasn't running FSX SP2 and asked if I would like to update so naturally I did. I didn't see the notice saying I would need to download SP1 in order for SP2 to work. I have downloaded SP1 and redownloaded SP2 and everything is working just fine now. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for your help.

OK good to know this is a SP1 or prior issue.
