Hi. These are the grip handles of the sliding sidewindows of the canopy. You can click them by the mouse and the glass will slide backwards.

Scott...shouldn't the 109's weight section look like this per format of other fsx planes?

station_load.0 = 200.000000, -2.900000, 0.000000, 0.000000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position
station_load.1 = 20.0000000, 0.000000, -7.100000, -0.500000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position
station_load.2 = 20.0000000, 0.000000, 7.100000, -0.500000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position
station_load.3 = 62.0000000, 1.260000, 0.000000, 0.400000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position
station_load.4 = 62.5000000, 0.860000, 0.000000, 1.110000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position
station_load.5 = 60.0000000, -5.030000, 0.000000, 0.060000 //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position

station_name.0 = "Pilot"
station_name.1 = "Left MG/FF Ammo"
station_name.2 = "Right MG/FF Ammo"
station_name.3 = "MG 17 Ammo"
station_name.4 = "Motorkanone"
station_name.5 = "BALLAST WEIGHT"

ROB,

Thanks a bunch. For some reason when the windows are closed on the -3 the handles line up with the wing gun barrels. It just looked odd. I check the other two 109's and the handle positioning is different. Any ideas on the non-functioning nav lights?

Krazy,

I don't know - that is one for SD_Research I think.

Scott.

Yes, the E3 canopy differs from E4 one. The side windows are vertically smaller hence the lower position of the handles.

Nav Lights. Did you try this fix posted by Scott here?:

Hey All,
I noticed that when you install the FS2004 update, the following gets omitted/errored in the CFG file of the Spitfire/109...

Lights
Smoke System
G-Limits

The FSX install is fine

Panther,

I am not seeing that here. I just applied the install to FS2004, and these entries are fine. Can you elaborate on what you are seeing?

Scott.

For example,
The light effects pointed to files that started with WOP and not WWIIF
Thus, I had no working lights in my 109 and Spit

I should state that I got a new HD and reinstalling everything. Since I HAVEN'T re-installed my standard WoP shocked this why I noticed it.
