in one of the screenshots you have, the slots (slats) are open on the ground, with the flaps down. i was wondering how you got that to work, as mine only come out when going slow in the air, or at high angles of attack

Those were early development screenshots. When a 109 is sitting on the ground, the gravity closes them (tail on the ground).
