Only one thing I can see that is wrong with the video.....it's too dang short!
Did you see the detail one the 109 wing in the side view? Talk about sharp!!
I already went past my monthly sim budget for the month, but I just ordered this package. There is no where else in the flight sim universe that one can pay so little and get so much in return. Very impressive product. 8)

The Sales page indicates that pre-orders are limited to the US only. Will there be much of a delay for sales outside the US, and will the boxed product be available from you or only in high street shops ?

play.com is the UK version. The US version is a later build, which just went gold and will ship from the Shockwave site and US retailers. We will have an update for the UK market to bring it up to this later version out soon.

I noticed that the WWII Fighters are available on eBay. Can I buy a copy of the WWII fighters via eBay? I live in the Netherlands, is it possible for me to order a copy there and get it here? sinced the pre-order is in the north-america region only.

BTW I believe it is the british version of the package does that mean that there are more versions of WWII Fighters?

Regards,

Meso

The British version is an earlier version because we had a commitment to get it done, and the US retailers really wanted Microsoft Flight Sim X compatibility. This delay allowed us more time to improve the aircraft. We've made an update for the UK version that will bring it up to the v.1.1 (US retail release). The download is about 32MB.

Will other Shockwave aircraft be compatible with FSX? Was the issue just more features available with FSX? Or is it a flight model issue?

WWII FIGHTERS are our first FSX compatible aircraft. The reason we did this for WWII FIGHTERS is because it is a retail box that will be on the shelves this holiday season when FSX is due out. The other WoP aircraft are downloads, so we can think about that once FSX is released.

So if I understand it right, I can order a British version at eBay and than upgrade it to version 1.1?
I have no experience with products from the US orderd at eBay but does anyone know something about reliabilty and the time it takes from order to delivery?

Regards,

Meso

I don't like seeing our products from no-name companies on Ebay, because i have no idea where they came from or what is on them.

I expect us to ship to Shockwave online store customers in two weeks (June 19th).
