I agree 8). The Italians played an important and often neglected part in aviation between both World Wars. But for a technicality, they'd have won the Schneider Trophy before the British did. Which was unfortunate for the Germans, because it enabled Reginald Mitchell to develop the S-5 and S-6 race planes and these can be considered the ancestors to the Spitfire.

SkyUnlimited has released an Re2005.

There's a nice-looking freeware Macchi 202 that just came out here.

Not Shockwave I realize, but more than worth a look.
