Unable to install WW2F into FSX

Hi! I know this post is a little older, but I am finally getting around to installing WW2F into my FSX. I am running Windows 7 and my Windows install is on my "C" drive of course. I then have an "F" drive where my entire FSX install is located. I tried installing WW2F and got the "FSX Directory corrupt" message. I found this string and downloaded the registry fix. I steered the directory fix to the FSX.exe path. I also then manually steer the install to the correct location. I DO have the version that says FSX compatible on the cover. I need HELP please. I desperately want to install WW2F in my FSX, but I just can't make it work! Can you help me please? Thanks! George-
