Farmington, CT USA March 10th, 2006 – Shockwave Productions has released the highly anticipated, Wings of Power Heinkel He 219 "Owl" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004®.

Heinkel's He 219 “Owl” is a pilot’s aircraft. It was exceptionally well laid and all the controls were easy to reach and identify. It was even equipped with ejection seats for both the pilot and observer. The forward canopy offered exceptional visibility all around. This aircraft represents the pinnacle of WWII piston design. Nothing looks, sounds, and functions like a Wings of Power aircraft.

This new movie shows a plethora of amazing new features in a virtual cockpit environment. The sound, feel of flight, function, and construction all exist on a level never done before. The aircraft is rare, no question, but just the most exhilarating aircraft to fly.

What a hoot! :D

I didn't even have to look to see if it was out this afternoon. As soon as I opened the door to my house my credit card was sucked out of the wallet in my pocket and flew through the house plastering itself up against the intake vent of my computer.

She'll be on the ramp in a few moments on this end.

Thanks Scott and crew!

OMG! I am a huge fan of your software, you without doubt produce the finest aircraft for fs9 and I have them all, but the new owl is simply stunning! :D

Once again, you have made a quantum leap in the quality, feel, visuals, realism and overall FUN of warbird simulation! CONGRATULATIONS guys, superb job!

I know you get a thousand requests and I'm sure you have more projects underway, BUT I would love to see you guy's do your magic to a Sea Fury next!

Anyway, once again, top job guys, many thanks from a VERY happy customer! :D

The Best...ever. 8)
Best sound for a prop, the work that went into that alone makes it an award-winner in my book. All the FS lmitatons overcome! :o

And the prop animation is the best I've ever seen!

Only thing: She just doesn't have a pretty side, does she? I went round and around, up and down in spot view in the air and on the ground and she is brutally..well, I hate to say it: ugly.

Kinda like a fat woman with skinny legs.

I shall christen her `Oprah` and love her to death...

Nah, she's not fat!
Look again.
She's rather skinny all over.
Except for those 2 big delicious engines.
