Gift Cerificate not working

I apologize if I am posting in the wrong area. I have also sent a private message to Lewis (A2A staff) but I am not sure if it worked. There is no record of it being sent. I am new here. I have a gift certificate code that I bought for a friend in 2017. He never redeemed it and has no need of it. I would like to use it however the code does not seem to work. I carefully typed it in at check out. I am trying to purchase the Cherokee 180 and at checkout it tells me the code does not exist. I am hoping someone can assist. Thanks in advance. Looks like a great community.
