Pilot's Logbook Software

Post by Dreamsofwings »

Does anyone else there keep a logbook for their sim flying and if so do you use any particular software that you would recommend?. Was considering buying a logbook from a pilot shop but then thought there might be something software based.

I don't log my flightsim hours, but for my realworld hours I use Logbook Pro. It's everything I could want, with the ability to add custom fields.

This one is a bit cheaper...

https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?C ... LID=201616

It comes straight from the sim, so doesn't necessarily match how you'd use one in rw. But you can edit to suit.
Cub, Cherokee, Comanche, Civvie 'stang, P-40, B-377 COTS, Spitfire, Connie, T-6, C-172, C-182, D-III, Anson, F4U

I use a simple Excel spreadsheet. It's customizable exactly to your liking and can be free. (Open office, Google sheets, etc)

I use Safelog. It's not free, but is a very good one to use. It's for real world pilots too. It keeps track of all your flight in google earth as well. The entries can be as detailed as you want them, or not.
