How long before the C182 is ready for P3Dv4?

Post by offwatch »

Just got new computer system this weekend after not having a gaming computer for 6 years. I ordered the P3Dv4 and installed and in my excitement didn't realize that the C182 wasn't for the version 4. Hopefully i won't have to wait too long or maybe I could get a credit? Now if I can just figure out how to get my TrackerIR 5 to work in P3Dv4.

The Accu-sim C182 Simulation has a P3D version that is P3Dv4 compatible.

I was about to purchase C182 when I saw this message. Does it mean that C182 is NOT compatible with P3D v4???

As Lewis noted above, it is P3D V4 compatible. If you are asking if the FSX version of the product is compatible with P3D, then the answer is no it is not. The P3D version must be purchased separately. If you made your purchase on the A2A store you can get "flying hours" credits for prior purchases that may be applied to new purchases by following these instructions.

OK good, I guess i miss understood the add on the store page for P3D. Some planes had P3Dv4 next to them and some did not and I didn't notice that the C182 did not until i payed for it. I haven't had a chance to download yet as I am still trying to get the TrackerIR to work with P3Dv4.

Now I'm confused. Does this mean that all the aircraft that say simply P3D are also P3Dv4 compatible? I figure the P3Dv4 planes will not work in version 1-3. You might want to put a note on the product pages and the main P3D store page indicating the compatibilities.

Thanks.

Hook,

The cart will state P3D, however the download page will allow you to choose which P3D version to install (v.1-3 or v.4).

Hope this helps.
