I fully respect A2A's policy on comments concerning aviation accidents. But since this is an official report, I thought it would be safe to post. Focuses mainly on human factors. Hope you find it informative.

Total pilot error as noted in the report. He was a showboat and took excessive risks.

I hope video can be found to serve as a teaching tool to others.

It's a pretty remote location, and conditions were tough, but somebody must have been filming... 8)

BTW, Angry Staff Officer is a great site (and a great Twitter account, too). The main author is a US Army engineer who comments on a whole array of contemporary military issues.

On his Star Wars page, I especially like this one. And this one, too. "Yeah, you watch the pride of the Empire shot down by [expletive] teddy bears" A needed dose of reality...
