Has A2A considered having a regular screenshot contest like Orbx does?
Thanks for any consideration.

You guys are just looking to score some freebies!
Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
I'm glad to see that some others like the idea.
Even if there's to prize I'd be ok, I just like the idea of a screenshot contest. Or maybe a smaller prize like 200 flying hours or somthing, not enough for a whole plane but at least a discount!patful wrote:You guys are just looking to score some freebies!

Perhaps each aircraft type should have its own entry?

I'm sorry but I don't seem to understand what you mean... Do you mean a separate contest for each plane?TBryson2 wrote:Perhaps each aircraft type should have its own entry?

Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
Yes, each aircraft has it's on "contest". I'm certain there are hundreds of potential candidates for "best screenshot", but with so many planes, and so many variety's of each aircraft it would be a shame that some got overlooked simply because they were not the "hot" plane at the moment.caleb1 wrote:I'm sorry but I don't seem to understand what you mean... Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
Screenies are wonderful in this community. All of the specific aircraft forums have their own screenshot thread and the A2A staff already puts screens they like on the FB page with proper recognition to the author and a link to the screen. A contest would be a wonderful addition but until something like that happens, idolize your favorite A2A aircraft with your works of art in their respective screenshot thread or in your own created thread. This community embraces the efforts, whether they be paints, screenies, stories of grand adventures, or just admiration of a common pastime and interest. So post away and make magic happen

Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
Neat. I didn't know about those threads, I have a nice shot of the Comanche I will post there later today.
I still like the idea about a contest though, and if A2A won't do a contest with prizes, can a forum staff member please tell me if it would be in compliant with the rules for me to start my own contest here (with no prizes, just for fun), where the people who enter are the only ones who can vote? (Very similar to how Orbx does it: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/153 ... ur-choice/)

Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
Usually we just post screenshots for the fun of it without a contest. I have tapered down a lot over the years with taking screenshots though. I just like looking at the repaints and stuff others are doing since my creativity level is far below that.

Re: A2A Screenshot Contest
I will definitely post some screenshots soon, weather there is a contest or not. It's amazing how many cool repaints are out there. It really helps add to the fun of A2A aircraft.
I use these pages to find repaints, it puts them all in one place:
