Yaw damper for V-tail Beechcraft?

Guys: I plan to buy the Bonanza very soon after it comes out. Hope my Comanche doesn't get too jealous! I'm a bit concerned about the potential for the yaw oscillations that I've been reading about on this forum. OK, I know that A2A is working hard to build in the yaw oscillations, and if they weren't there, it just wouldn't be Accu-Sim.

However:

I Googled V-tail Bonanaza yaw damper, and got a couple interesting sites: Here's the American Bonanza Society link: https://www.bonanza.org/community/membe ... r-options/. There are a number of comments posted by real Bonanza pilots. About half of them say that the Yaw Damper is great. The other half say they don't need it, especially considering that the yaw damper adds weight in the tail, and V tails don't need any help with moving the CG aft. The yaw damper is made by S-Tec.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could have the option of a yaw damper and speed brakes in the Shift+7 hangar?

S-Tec yaw damper: http://www.premieravionics.net/pages/s- ... amper.html

Precise Flight speed brakes: https://www.preciseflight.com/general-a ... -beech-35/

Just a thought.

This is not something we've researched and for us to do this correctly would require finding a Bo with this and flight testing it, and I'm not inclined to push this release out any more further than it already has. But we will look into this when we are able to.

Scott.

Thank you for getting back. No problem-o on the add-ons.
