From experience so far, the AP doesn't track a GPS course, you pretty much have to steer it to the new course manually because the AP won't make the turns. The same with ILS, it won't make the turn on it's own to the approach leg.

This is gonna be great! \o/

And the AP should be fine, I can fly GPS routes with the AP in the Comanche 250. Just for sharp turns set the heading bug and change modes till you're established on or at least near the new leg.

My Ps is ready and waiting to paint mine... :)

Okay I see now , I can't help you there, that's a fact of life with these types. The GFC700 does offer GPSS and some other installations can be enabled with this integration as well to help with flying a plan. That's most of the fun with a simulator in my book, and that is to be able to safely develop and maintain the skills to manage everything!

Quick story, I had the opportunity to fly right seat in a Citation Jet. The pilot had to do the exact same things we do in a Cessna 182 to manage his AP including manually steering or switching over from NAV to HDG mode to manually intercept a course before going back to NAV.

One question if I may. Is the Bonanza also going to be available for FSX for us that are stuck in the 32bit world?

Thank you for the update Scott!!

Happy flying

I have also the same question ; I like GA planes; does A2A stops new airplanes for FSX ? it would be a pity, I guess we are still a number to fly with FSX
thanks

For those or you who enjoy this kind of stuff I've found a YouTube channel of a company that specialises in selling bonanzas and barons.

They have loads of them for sale and usually post videos which specify and show everything about the airplane. They have a few v35 videos.

I am curious as to what the 2 blade looking things are installed underneath the V-tail on the model. Been looking, and see very few real ones that have them installed so I can only assume it is some kind of mod on the birds. Knots2U doesn't sell them. They almost look like our UHF or DALS antenna's on the old H-60's, but based on their location I would think they are some type of airfoil to help with pitch stability with the V-tail.

Thanks for the update Scott. Looking forwards to it coming out. Will be adding it to my hanger for sure.

They look a lot like VOR antennae? Maybe longer because they're right behind the fuselage instead of above it?

Almost like some sort of yaw damper mod, but I'm guessing.

I agree. Or something along the lines. Pretty sure you can hear breathing through an oxygen mask in the video, which suggests it's some sort of jet powered fighter/trainer. Exciting times ahead for accusim, for sure. I remember them teasing a Startfighter and F-4 in the past, guess it'll take much much longer than expected to do those aircarft accusim-justice. I only hope we'll see some sort of piston twin in the near future. A Baron or some twin Piper would be awesome.
