Scott.
Now this is great news. I miss the Spitfire so much it hurts! :)
For me it's my beloved Mustang. Can't wait to see them back in action.

I'd say that is very unlikely. All of the A2A modeled autopilot systems are very typical and not difficult to operate, they are realistic unlike the unrealistic stock autopilot modeling. I'd go as far as to say that the current batch of autopilot systems modeled by A2A are among the easiest to use. Some would think that the GFC 700 in the G1000 *should* be easier to use, but many pilots IMHO find it more challenging to work with.

It appears that the airplane used in development flight testing employs System 50 autopilot, it is fairly similar in function to the System 30 as seen in A2A Pipers but has a different pilot interface. For button pushers it is similarly 'unfriendly' in that it requires you to perform captures and trim the airplane.

Edit: Oh and no other vertical modes but altitude hold.

I'd love to have it simulated. :)

You can add or remove tip tanks in the maintenance hangar for the Bo.

Thanks Scott, now that's one for my hangar! It works but I never did get around to installing Carenado's Bonnie in v4, won't have to now :D

I'm glad that you've picked something that will need careful handling, as with the T6 you cannot take liberties with this one

As to the first part of the video, I'm guessing the mention of 18,000, oxygen, and a new kind of Accu-Sim engine, suggests the beginnings of a jet in development. Hope so.
Yes, but did you also hear them set power and trim for 90 knots? I'm thinking more likely a turbocharged aircraft, warbird or civilian.

Wow. That's awesome news! I ways hoping for a Bonanza and after Esa suggested it might be one I was rather sure he was right. But a V-Tail is even better! This is going to be so awesome to compare the V-Tail characteristics to the standard tail Cessnas and Pipers. This is amazing news!

One question if I may. Is the Bonanza also going to be available for FSX for us that are stuck in the 32bit world?

Thank you for the update Scott!!

Well, I have no experience in a real aircraft, I once got a half hour introductory ride in a C-172 or C-182, I don't recall which and that's my total experience in a small plane. I likely won't be getting this offering because if it can't track and ILS landing or a GPS flight plan then it just isn't enjoyable. Thanks. :)

Now, I do appreciate the advantages of the modern glass cockpit, but those acres of beige metal would be hugely improved with a few nice 3D steam gauges! :D

Let's take the KAP140 which is one of the more complex units currently modeled. What would be too difficult about doing the below?
Press AP, NAV and then GS on the KAP 140 for example to track an ILS?
Press AP,and NAV to track a GPS course?

Not sure how much easier that can be made? Going off topic anyway, but just managing expectations for *any* realistic GA offering.

Yeah, glass is fantastically practical, but it’s generic and soulless.
Give me steam gauges with personality. :)

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!
