Accu-Sim Update for P3D V4.2

Post by lorketomi »

Hello,

I have installed Prepar3D V4.2 and succesfully installed all my a2a aircraft outside of the sim. I also modified the add-ons.cfg file so I can see my aircraft in the sim.
Then I tried to run the latest accu-sim update (10_12_2017) with no luck. When I ran the installer I browsed the directory containing my a2a aircraft (it is d:\Games\Prepar3DV4_Addons in my case), but after a second it said the update was succesful without searching for my installed aircraft.
So what is the correct way to run the update in the case of V4.2?

Thank you in advance.

That sounds like the expected behavior. The patch just updates a single file to correct a steering issue.

Hello,

yes, just to confirm this sounds correct as the only update for the moment is a single file used by all the aircraft so no searching for the aircraft to update for the moment.

thanks,

It is great how A2A has made things faster for P3D v4. :) Thank you A2A.

They haven't as this was just a one off hotfix to a single file. They apparently have some new installers that we will see sooner than later I imagine.
