GTN750 Complete

Post by walt642 »

Hi, does anyone know if A2A is going to intergrate the Flight1 GTN750 into any of it's Prepar3Dv4.2 aircraft, Or if they are even considering it? I started with FSX, then to STEAM, Now I am 99% on Prepar3Dv4.2 but haven't loaded any A2A aircraft because I love the GTN750. I may install the A2A 182 and wait to see what A2A does with it. There is no doubt A2A is up there with PMDG as far as the BEST aircraft add-ons out here. Just want to be sure they are going to flow with Lockheed Martin with the Prepar3D aircraft. Would appreciate any feed back on this. Thanks Walt

Unless I am mistaking the Flight 1 750/650 GTN works with all the A2A GA that are ready for P3dV4 (172, 182, Cherokee, Comanche). Also the 650 works with the Texan and the Connie

I just downloaded the A2A Cessna 182 I also have the Flight1 GTN750 but I don't know how to intergrate it into the dash on the A2A 182. Is this possible?

Hi Walt,

You need to run "C182 Aircraft Configurator_P3D" (it's in the "A2A Simulations" folder in the Start menu), then click GPS and select the configuration you want. With the GTN Complete, all three configurations (750, 650 or both) are supported. Then you might need to run F1TGTNConfigP3D (make sure to run it as administrator) afterwards to adjust detailed configuration settings for the two GPS units, but that's not required to make the units work.

Regards,
Tym

Hi Walt

thanks for starting this valuable topic. I totally agree with you about the Flight 1 GTN750-650! It's my favourite utility, which I definitely wouldn't want to lose e.g. for Comanche, 182, T6 (and Turbo Duke)

What I strongly appreciate about your message is that, beyond solving your specific question, you might generate many more folks to get Flight1 750 (Complete) for them to enjoy what they see on the planes' panel.

(The excellence of the Flight 1 product outweighs that, occasionally, one might ironically find that navigating a route feels a touch convoluted to getting any support e.g. for validation/"re-activation", but the support really does exist via their forum with excellent contributors).

Cheers,

Strange, I've always received very quick responses to emails, usually within an hour or two. They even fixed a re-activation problem on an old purchase with a defunct email address and a credit card I no longer have.
