New WinX Pro Computer, P3Dv4, and Install Issue?

Post by LarryKEDN »

Well, this is new! Have P3Dv4 on a 9th Gen Alienware and running X Pro. No problem so far with any other addons until now.

Tried loading the Commanche version 4 from a download dated: 6/14/2017.

It pauses with the install of the passive DirectX for about 30-60 seconds, but then a window states that the DirectX version is okay and the installer finishes.

I load up my default starts with v4. I then load the Commanche. Everything looks very normal. I do a hangar upgrades for Commanche and then go back into the PIC chair. I do a cold start and everything looks normal. I start my taxi, then................. no brakes to guide her to the runway.

BTW, there is no check to see if the A2A software is mine!

Help????

Is your sim P3Dv4.1 if so you need to update your A2A aircraft , as A2A aircraft had to put out an update for the aircraft to taxi , due to the P3Dv4.1 update that corrected an FSX ground handling issue.

Thanks all! Sorry for being gone. It did fix it. Loving the new Alienware with A2A planes.
