I am more of a GA/Warbird pilot, so not interested in populating the sky and major airports with modern jet airliners so much. Have seen programs like Ultimate Traffic Live that seem to be more aimed at users that like to fly the airliners.
Can anyone recommend a good program that adds AI traffic into the sim so that when flying circuits for example there is other a/c in the mix?

Re: Adding GA AI Traffic
Pending the regions you fly in, check out the Orbx freeware AI Traffic
Re: Adding GA AI Traffic
You can create your own AI traffic using free programs such as SAMM (static aircraft model maker) and AI flight planner. I have made AI models of all the old A2A airplanes (Wings of power). If you are interested in War birds and planes from the golden age there are all kinds of planes you can convert to AI with SAMM and then create your own flight plans. CA Classics has prop liners you can use. I have all kinds of flight plans that have classic prop liners, war birds and golden age aircraft. I just enable them in my scenery library when I want. Take a look at the links. I had a lot of fun creating flight plans with aircraft to my liking. Also do a search of the sites like Fltsim.com and sim-outhouse for AI aircraft.

Thanks DVM that looks very interesting! Would be incredible to import the A2A Spit and formate on it!dvm wrote:You can create your own AI traffic using free programs such as SAMM (static aircraft model maker) and AI flight planner. Re: Adding GA AI Traffic
Does the Orbx AI only work with Orbx regions? I have all the global stuff but not any regions.

There is a learning curve when using any new program so don't get discouraged. The simpler airplanes are easier to convert but you will get the hang of it. Here is a page from a site that has hundreds of AI military aircraft.

Re: Adding GA AI Traffic
It should work without the regions. However it mainly covers the airports contained in a few of their regions. There might be some flights that go from an ORBX airport to somewhere outside the regions. But I guess you must be lucky to really meet an aircraft somewhere else. Apart from that it might be possible that the stock airports lack parking lots for the planes if you don't use at least the upgraded airfields contained in their regions. But I don't know exactly. I've never tried AI traffic without the regional ORBX stuff.AviationAtWar wrote:Does the Orbx AI only work with Orbx regions? I have all the global stuff but not any regions.
BTW, for P3D4 it's only available for Australia & New Zealand so far.
