From what I can gather from reading between the lines of all the A2A folks is that the T-33 has never been shelved, and that it is a viable project based on the fact that it is not pushing the supersonic envelope. That was the reason I remember (unless my memory is failing me) that the F-104/F-4 ran into trouble because FSX didn't deal with those supersonic flight regimes well, and they needed more information to code it for themselves in to Accu-sim which put those projects on the far far back burner. The Spitfire MkV I am not sure why that was cancelled, but I am sure there was some well intentioned business decision that drove it. I cannot say that they have chosen the wrong direction as I have bought and enjoy every plane except the 172. I would definitely love to know what is coming down the pipeline though, but I do understand they choose not to disclose it anymore. I imagine to stop the questions of "are we there yet?" and other demands that I myself am guilty of.

Here's hoping A2A can get on with a new release soon. Over the past year, most of my allocated flightsim dollars have been going to ORBX. Happy days and high revenues for ORBX. No so much for A2A. Very sad.

Hope the drought will not last much longer.

I'm sure that about a month after the next plane is released, we'll all be speculating on the next one after that. And don't forget the wishlists which will start again full of DC-3's, B-25's, Beech 18's (all versions), F4 Phantoms, Cessna 185's etc, etc...

So given that Scott said the next release had been pushed back to early in the new year, and Dudley says "soon", I'm sure the forum will be full of this stuff again by Easter. :P

Cheers,
Mike

@ Lewis: Your new call sign is "Easter Bunny!" :D

All this practice landing my T-6 is making me really long for my P-40, in full-on P3Dv4.x glory!
