That was one of the first things I did upon reading the comments from other forum members to previous installations. Same result. If you ask me, there seems to be something wrong with the downloaded files for FSX (FSX Steam, in my case).

That's one thing I haven't tried but I suspect there should be no bearing to the installation as I use Norton AntiVirus and was disabled for the various installations and unistallations.

Please let me know about my request for the fresh files.
