Making a Home cockpit, I don't have any Switch that can be used for the Defrost. Can I stop this function because I have my Windshield full of condensation and I don't want to zoom to the Defrost Switch each time...

Why not just keep it open? The position of the defroster is saved between sessions on my A2A aircraft.

Also consider opening a window or door pre engine start. It is realistic to get fogging if the cockpit is buttoned up with people inside.

Worst case, use the Shift-3 menu to opiate the defroster.

You could start by checking that the 2-D panel transparency hasn't been set to 100% accidentally. If you give us a bit more info on your host sim platform, it'll help with troubleshooting stuff like this.

I don't think there's any shame in letting one's editorial standards slip just a bit for hastily-typed forum posts. I generally submit them then notice a mistake or two which I try to sneakily correct before anyone notices!
