Comanche in search of a hamburger

Post by nojwod »

Bill Womack has just released a couple of airports perfect for A2A aircraft owners keen to do some VFR flying in New England USA. I made a video of a $100 hamburger flight...

Here are a few pics I thought you guys would enjoy. Plum Island Airport 2B2 is my little home airport. My dad and my uncles use to fly out of this little gem in the years (early 1940's) prior to WWII. The first pic is of the Blue Airport 2B2 sign. Also in the background you can see the building next to the US flag where you can get your $100.00 hamburger! The second pic is of the airport historic sign, outside of the main building. The third pic advertises, flight lessons are available. In the movie from the original post, the narrator mentions his lack of knowledge of the local flying rules in and around the airport. The last pic are the airport rules, posted on the main airport building. Yes the main building is the same building you'll get your hamburger. Enjoy flying in and around Plum Island!

Update: Apparently the last video still has some conflicting elements in the scenery because I didn't set the insertion point in FTXC3 properly, which I have now done, so I hope to release a third and final version soon!
