Question, does P3Dv4 need Bob Scott's Dynamic Friction that comes in Peter Dowson's FSUIPC package? I ran this in FSX for years and like the effects. Do any of you simmers use it in P3Dv4? Did LM change their friction modelling so it's not needed anymore? My Constellation seems to roll very freely at times and I got to wondering about this.
Thanks
Roger

Re: P3Dv4 & Dynamic Friction
Unfortunately it isn't compatible with v4 and Pete said it probably wouldn't be.

Thanks Chris. I was "assuming" that sense it is included in the 5.x package it was still good.Tutmeister wrote:Unfortunately it isn't compatible with v4 and Pete said it probably wouldn't be.

Re: P3Dv4 & Dynamic Friction
Roger, have a read of this thread with Pete. Seems in probably isn’t needed anyway.

Re: P3Dv4 & Dynamic Friction
Thanks Chris,
I took a look at the link and towards the end I was wondering why I was reading it . I was not understanding much of it accept that it is not, at this time, supported as written in the DynamicFriction.lua. That's really all I need to know I guess.
