Any clues what the next A2A will be ?

Post by Styggron »

Had a quick scout around trying to find if there are any clues as to what the next aircraft might be or when it will get released.

Would really like to see a jet like many of us, and of course, an Avro Lancaster. Not sure that one will ever come, there are only 3 airworthy ones in existance I think. 2 in the UK and one in Canada.

Probably some old boring GA twin. But it's all relative of course. :P

A twin would be nice. This is why I have not got any other A2A plane, sure there are different models for GA but they are all single prop and no jets so not "different enough" for me. I understand accu sim gives them all character but I'd really like something completely different for my second plane.

This is why I was considering the Stratocaster with Accu Sim, looks a little daunting though.

Do we get roughly 1 plane a year ? or less ?

2015 we got the Commache 250, did we get another ?
2016 so far we have the T6

1 in the UK and 1 in Canada with others running but not 'airworthy' papers wise.

thanks,

Gotcha so only 2 airworthy Lancasters. :(
This is really my dream ship for A2A. I saw some nice and close at Duxford a few weeks ago. Amazing. I love Lancasters. I don't dare hope we will get one though.

I'm really hoping the Piper Seminole is next. If their release dates are a pattern, then I'd guess to see the next plane around October/November.

I would like to see GA tail-dragger with a little more power than the Cub (which is great). Hopefully with the option for tundra tires, floats and skis :D

That would be outstanding, especially since they are able to really improve tailwheel ground handling ;)

I'd be thrilled with any GA twin, but A2A's own Aerostar would be outstanding.

I'd be happy with any twin and a jet.

So around 2 per year and we already had the Texan this year so lets hope for a Twin or a Jet.

I think my current hair (from 1982) would be perfect for it.

I shall continue to hope dearly for an Accusim Super Cub or Cessna 180 or any other bush plane - I need an accusim taildragger with more power and cargo than the J-3!!!!

Maybe if I whine about it enough it'll happen :D
