embedding youtube vids not playing

It seems you can no longer embed youtube videos and play them? Any thoughts why? Is this something to do with the forum software as you can still do this on other solutions or have I just cocked it up?

Have you deleted the "s" at https? And use the full link, not youtu.be. Should work then.

Chris - I can see the video you posted here without any problems. If you can't, it may be down to your browser settings. However, the first thing to check as Marc suggests, is that you're not viewing the forums via an https:// link. More info on this can be seen here.

Yep I removed the s.
Weirdly it is working for me now on my iPad using chrome. The post was made on my pc using ie and that showed the video box but had a box over it saying that flash embedded videos were no longer supported but I could still view the video on YouTube.
Obviously it is an issue my end, thanks for your help.
