Nice video showing how far they went to get the shots. You can't knock Christopher Nolan's attention to detail or dedication to doing things the right way.

Hey no problem Lewis. I wanted to share because I was impressed with how far they went to get those flying shots. I love that they didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t cheap out and use cgi.

I too thought they were some of the best film aerial sequences I've seen in a long time. As a long time film buff I've seen tons of aerial sequences in movies, many very dreadful and very unrealistic, but these just reach out and grab you. Do see the film in iMax or 70mm if you can. Kudos to the director for his extra effort.
