Anyone know what the GTN trainer is for ?

Found this cd rom..... is this just a training aid, or does it possibly have a more recent database than the one that comes with the Flight1 GNS package ?

From the Flight1 product page:
The GTN 750 and GTN 650 includes a worldwide Navigation Database (Airports, VORs, NDBs, intersections, approaches, departures, and arrivals). It contains these items for the entire world.

The GTN includes a full worldwide terrain map, so no additional DVD purchase will be necessary.
The DVD will be static and I'm fairly certain won't contain any updated navdata.
