I can say this much.
If we DID do a C54 (DC4) I think we'd be the only developer actually flying one! :-))))))))))))))

If you guys AREN'T doing a C54, I think you all would be the only developer who ever went to such extremes and expense just for 'fun'. :-))))))))))))

Surely Scott can't help himself after his 2 recent C54 flights. He will just have to Accu-Sim it!

The question is are there any plans for another cots?

That's probably the question that needs to be asked. Personally, I think whatever A2A releases next won't be a COTS product and probably even not the one after that either. I'd bet we'll see the Comanche 400 first and then the Aerostar. I think I've read or heard Scott saying that, A2A primarily develops planes on an availability basis. As in, they have actual real-world practical access to an aircraft to test-fly and take photos, record sounds etc. Based on that, I'd be surprised if the two next releases aren't the two above mentioned.

That is traditionally the mold but the 049 constellation busted it. I don't think any are still flying and they used the one at greenwood lake as a reference which was converted to a restaurant years ago. Definitely no test flight there

I'd love to see a De Havilland Comet. It's probably unlikely but it's the first jet airliner, and is rather unique looking too!

C'mon all, isn't it obvious?

Based on previous COTS products it will need to be something "mighty", atmospheric and luxurious. A flying boat! Probably a Short Empire.

For a second guess I'd sneak in the Bristol Brabazon :)

We really could use a flying boat! Based upon availability that would be Grumman Goose/Albatross/Widgeon etc, or my own choice, a PBY-6. Lots of atmosphere, scope for mucking about with creaks, groans, engine and water sounds, lots of interesting repaint possibilities. Pleeeaaaaasssseeee....
