Trying to install A2A updater but it does not find P3d and instead wants me to install for FSX only.

There is no update for P3D V4 if you are attempting to run the updater on a P3D V4 installation. All the updates are already applied to the aircraft.

There is no update specific to V4 as you already have all the latest updates included in the V4 installers. You have the same latest version that everyone else has.
A2A has indicated that a V4 updater will be made available when new updates become available for their products.
You aren't missing out on anything.
