saitek switch panel and A2A aircraft?

Post by cessna lover »

I just bought the Saitek switch panel and had a jumbo jet load of trouble getting it to work. and now my question is will it work with the planes I have or will I need to use the keyboard/mouse for controlling my A2A stuffs?

Hi Cessna lover.

I replied to your post on the other forum mentioning I have the same panel but use SPAD.next.

Out of the box the panel says it will only work with FSX and only control the functions listed on the face of the panel. I have never used it for their "stock" functions but the A2A planes in FSX "should" give you those functions. Hopefully someone here on the forum that is using it out of the box should jump in soon to agree or correct me if I am wrong.

Good luck, we need more cockpit builders.
Take care
Ed

:D thank back to me. that sounds great. but I found using the Default Moony that the cowl flap switch works to fast they are either open or closed. is there away to slow down how fast they open/close?

i was wondering if any one know that instead of plugging this into the computers usb port if I can plug it into the yoke and it would work? cause I have wires all over the place. and then instead of having to unplug the panel all the time just leave it hooked up to the yoke?

I think the switch panel is okay, as it doesn't draw much current. Try it, and see what happens

:D I did and it works. that is better for me then plugging it into my pc because I have other simulators I play and have to move the yoke to play them.
