Do product zip files contain updates?

Do the product zip files for aircraft contain updates? I need to re-install my aircraft and my original downloads are over three years old. I see I have 5 downloads available and thinking about downloading the zips again and then applying updates versus using my old zip files before updates.

Except for the P3D v4 versions, none of the downloads have the updates included. You will always need to apply the updates.

yes you will want to use the Updater for all platforms but P3Dv4 at the time of this post. In the future this will of course change as updates are released for the new P3Dv4 platform.

Thank you for your replies. As always I will apply the latest update.

Based on the replies it seems there is no benefit to downloading a "fresh" copy of the base installers and then applying the update versus using my three year old base installers and then applying the update.
