Cruising on top at 10 000...
Over my hometown in Northern Quebec...
And a realweather circuit at my homeplate (CYMT) in the 172 to practise my crosswind landings...
Gotta say that volumetric fog, clouds and shading is so much better in v4...
Can't wait to give a spin to the Mustang and the L049...
Cracking job at porting to 64bit A2A, keep it up!

You sure got that right! I had noticed that there was no way to just show my favorites on the aircraft list. Figure all I need is the T-6, Comanche, and maybe the default Carenado Bonanza. Found out that a new hotfix was released for P3Dv4 http://www.prepar3d.com/news/2017/06/114375/. Downloaded it and followed the instructions as shown at this link: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=120861. I followed the instructions very carefully and got the hotfix working.
Good news and bad news.
Bad news first. I still have to start the program with a default aircraft. If I try loading with an A2A aircraft the panning with the hat switch doesn't work. Bummer.
Now for the GOOD news!! I previously had great graphics, and the scenery and clouds and especially the aircraft looked great, but I was still getting 28-30 fps, which is what I had in P3Dv3. Now I'm getting 70-95 fps! I flew my Comanche from Banning (KNBG) all the way across LA and up to Paso Robles (KPRB) and all I can say is, WOW!
Yeah, I am happy.

Have you tried switching from "Raw" to "Direct Input" (or vice-versa)? I've heard that helps. Warning: re-save your keyboard files first as I think iswapping over wipes some of them.Paughco wrote:If I try loading with an A2A aircraft the panning with the hat switch doesn't work. Bummer.
