Comanche training

Post by awash2002 »

I'm about to put my self through some tough Comanche training with the A2A Comanche 250 problem is I have no idea what to do as part of the training syllabus so if any check airmen and instructors could give me advice I'll gladly use and train to the PTS standards

awash2002,

The best bet is the reference the very document that sets the standards you will be judged against. -> http://www.faa.gov/training_testing/tes ... acs_6A.pdf

A reference on how to perform the various maneuvers. The examiner will want to see you execute the maneuvers in the expected fashion. An example of this would be performing a power off stall in a dirty configuration at a stable descent at landing approach speed. -> http://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies ... ndbook.pdf

Then there is the reference document for pilot aeronautical and knowledge. -> http://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies ... ndbook.pdf

Now if you want Comanche specific pointers, I can't help you there. We'll have to wait for one of the other folks to step in. Do you have specific areas of concern?
