I went to my purchase page and all I saw was my purchase and no version numbers and how many downloads I had remaining.

Please, I'm begging as this is a difficult site to find things, please post a link?

Thanks Lewis, I already did that. But it just shows my original purchases, all 10 of them.

Nowhere does it say they're V4 ready.

182
Cherokee
Comanche
T6

Did they somehow get changed to V4 installers on my account page?
What I'm asking is how do I know they're for V4?

I'm getting pretty frustrated here as other people are apparently downloading them and I have no idea where to get them and nowhere does it specifically say they're for version 4.

Thank you, glad someone could make that clear.
Was this mentioned anywhere?
Anyway, I appreciate it.

My mistake, Lewis, thanks.

At PMDG, Mr. Randazzo mentions to make sure that were compiled with the correct SDK for v4, are they?

I rather suspect they are. Otherwise they could have knocked all of them out by now!

Can we still use all our repaints from v3.4?

We have always used the latest tools / SDK for compiling aircraft for Prepar3D to take advantage of any new, native features.

B-17 Flyer, we did not alter any texture mappings so the paints should work.

Just to add for the repaints, the polished metal got a different look for late v3 and now also slightly changed for v4 so heads up that they may look slightly different if using older repaints or repaints from fsx. They will all work it'll just be they should look a lot better on the P3D platform for the polished metal look etc.

thanks,

Lewis,
Just my thoughts on LM's new addon method: I use a small SSD for my C: drive, so having a bunch of large files on it just wont work. Personally I liked the old method better since P3D sits on a drive with over 2TB of free space, instead of my C: drive's remaining 75gb.

It's not a huge issue at the moment, but as more and more developers begin to use SODE (for scenery) and LM's addon folders, that C: drive is going to fill up fast, which pretty much defeats the purpose of just running your OS off of an SSD.

I just installed the T-6. Really looking forward to taking it up again. Thanks! :D

Hello Chris,

you can install add-ons anywhere on your system. Please refer to your P3D documentation.

Chris,

You can install our airplanes into any location you wish, and the installer will automatically configure P3Dv4 for that location.
