I am brand new to flight simulations.
ÂÂ
A bought the C182 Skylane for P3D V3.4. Two weeks later V4 was announced.
I upgraded to P3D V4 (and got a refund for V3.4 from L-M). Installed it from scratch deleting everything (including the airplanes)
ÂÂ
I went to the A2A website to re-download the airplane, but accidentally I clicked the download button 3-4 times in a sequence).
My account page and now that the number of downloads remaining is 0.
ÂÂ
Request:
ÂÂ
Since I did not use the downloads for multiple installations, and the downloads were only accidental (on the same machine) I would like to ask you to reset the “Remaining†to 5 (since I have not used the airplane on P3D V3.4 since I switched to V4).
ÂÂ
Here is the purchase info:

Re: Free P3Dv4 upgrade for existing A2A P3Dv3 customers
In P3Dv4 the A2A C172 windows text - ( [SHIFT]+[3] , [SHIFT]+[4] and so on) - is nearly unreadable (too small) until I resize pertaining window. After resizing - what only works well in x-direction - and next reload of the aircraft all windows are reset again to it's original size and I have to resize each single window again.
Independently from that P3Dv4's menu text as well as other text is displayed inside the screen in a comfartable/convenient size.
My display settings: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080.0.0, 3840x2160x32
How can this be solved?
Joe

Hello Bob,rlaycock wrote: So I am down to one question
How do I uninstall the C172 that I installed with the "Old New" P3dv4 installer last week which installed to the c:/ My Documents folder?
Please note there is no uninstall option in Programmer and Features
Thank in advance if you can help.
Bob
Because there wasn't an uninstaller with the original P3Dv4 Skyhawk, you'll just need to manually delete any files within the old directory structure. Using my installation path as an example, the file/folders to delete would be as follows:
F:\Prepar3D v4\A2A\Cessna172
F:\Prepar3D v4\Gauges\accusim
F:\Prepar3D v4\Gauges\accusim_xml
F:\Prepar3D v4\Gauges\A2A_Accusim.dll
F:\Prepar3D v4\Scripts\A2AMat_Glass.lua
F:\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C172
You can also go into the F:\Prepar3D v4\Effects directory and delete any files which start with "fx_a2a_" (there should be about 25 of them). Finally, to get rid of everything, also delete the few corresponding "fx_a2a_" texture files in F:\Prepar3D v4\Effects\Textures.
A full listing of the files which the installer installs can be seen in the log file: F:\Prepar3D v4\A2A\Cessna172\wos_c172.log.
Hope that helps.
Nick

You can edit the panel.cfg file to make the 2-D panels bigger. More details on how to go about this here.
Cheers,
Nick
P.S. For any future issues/questions guys, probably best to start new topics in the C172 Support Forum.

Re: Free P3Dv4 upgrade for existing A2A P3Dv3 customers
Hi folks,
I have just purchased the C172 from RealFlightShop (had a discount code through them).
The installer seems to have options only for V1/V2/V3.
However, before purchase I verified the product page on said website had support for V4.
Can someone clarify if I'm barking up the correct tree?
Thanks all! Looking forward to flying her!
Seth

I bought Professional Version 172, 182, Comanche, Cherokee and T6 for Prepar3d V3.4 Pro.
Now, I purchase a Prepar3D Academic Version 4.0.
Any chances of a downgrade to my A2A airplanes to a Academic Version? Do I need to buy all aircraft again (academic version)?
Thanks

Pretty sure you're not required to "downgrade" if your P3D licensing requirement has changed jassist. Just download the new P3D v4 installers as they're released (only the 172 has been updated for v4 at the time of writing) and the A2A 'Professional' products should install into your 'Academic' version of P3D without problem.jassist wrote:I bought Professional Version 172, 182, Comanche, Cherokee and T6 for Prepar3d V3.4 Pro.

I don't work for A2A though: Lewis or Scott may be able to confirm...
Thanks,
Nick

Should all work with just updated installers. Only 172 available at the moment.jassist wrote:I bought Professional Version 172, 182, Comanche, Cherokee and T6 for Prepar3d V3.4 Pro.

I have already installed the 172 Pro into P3Dv4 Academic with zero issues.
Easy thing to try - grab the v4-ready installer for the 172 and just give it a go..!

There should be a separate installer for v4. You would need to check the store where you purchased if it doesn't include the extra installer.sethainsley wrote:Hi folks,

Any idea on a timeline for more P3D v4 releases? I thought other planes were coming just days after the 172? No hurry, just curious.
