Hi Lewis,
I have already done so. I was just offering my opinion on the LM addon method. :)

I do not try new installers yet so not usre if you can change location, but you can install it on C drive and just move installed folder to different drive/folder/anywhere and change path in add-on.cfg file. Or just make symbolic link in original location pointing new one. Use of default add-on folder is fine as P3D will add addon library automatically for you into add-on.cfg ev en you reinstall it. You have to make it manually if they are located in different place.

No worries, but understand that there are no worries about C: drives as the P3Dv4 method makes it more flexible than the old way you can literally have add-ons anywhere, coupled with the need to not reinstall them each P3D patch. Also given the small SSD OS systems you should always as good practice move your user data off the drive otherwise it will quickly fill with temp files from software that go into your user directories.

Lewis

Hello A2A team

Thank you for this free upgrade to P3D 64bit, but how to download the new files. When I check your store, only purchase is available.
and only the C172 seems to be P3Dv4, the others one (P28, C182, P250 don't have this mention)
Thank for your work.

182, Cherokee, Comanche, T-6 are up on the A2A Store. Once I know they are working across some customer systems and people are OK with our new direction with the installers ill send them out to 3rd party vendors and shout about it a little more. Including some of the new lighting features included in the updates.

thanks,
Lewis

Just installed one of four. Flawless install and Chase Plane allows me to do the walk-around.

And is this correct. It brought over my hours, so I have the same hours on it as I do in 3.4. I don't mind, I like it.

But how did it do this from one SSD to another, from one sim to another?

The Accu-sim files are in your documents folders. So I just imagine it gets the data from there, or uses them as shared files since it is all outside the sim anyway. It brought over all my FSX hours so I am a happy camper.

I'm happy too. The 812 flys like a dream.

Now, if I could only get my MOST used item in the sim, the GTN750.

I actually have the sim FOR the 750 not the other way around so I'll be sticking with 3.4 and 4 for a very long time.

I didn't check yet, is it 750 capable when it ever comes out?

installed Commanche into the default folder but the GNS400 wont power up, nor will com2/nav2.

i've tried uninstalling all A2A products from v3.4 + v4 and reinstalling only the commanche into v4. Same issue.

Anyone got any ideas?

Ignore, some moron took a fuse out lol . install + aircraft works perfectly!

I know.. the F1 GTN is the main stay of my flying, and I have gotten so used to flying with it. Using the stock GPS right now to test fly the Comanche makes me appreciate it that much more. All good things come with time though, and the GTN is definitely a complex piece of equipment. I am happy to report that all the aircraft I have (Cherokee, 182, Comanche, and T-6) all work fantastic except for the beacon light issue I mentioned here: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 16&t=60006 . I think it is the first time I have ever had to report a problem in all of my years of using Shockwave/A2A aircraft. At least it isn't some sort of major problem. Can't thank the team enough for the excellent work that has been produced, and the seamless transition to v4.

Hi Richard, they haven't released the new installers to the third party stores yet like SimMarket. They are only available for right now if you originally bought the plane from A2A directly.

Hopefully they'll share them soon, I bought a few of mine at JustFlight which also doesn't have the new installers yet.
