Friday fun - What do you drive?

Post by et31 »

Hi all,

Happy Friday!

Now we all know what we fly (A2A obviously) but what car do you drive?

Is it an older model like most of the A2A fleet or is it something shiny and new

Late 09 ford focus 1.4. Sensible car for the kiddies and big boot for the pushchair, though the kiddies are getting a bit old for that now.

2012 Nissan Leaf all electric so no engine displacement. 4 door hatch, A/C, cruise, Bluetooth audio, and I installed a trailer hitch for my bike rack. Bought it new in 2012, and just crossed 54,000 miles in it yesterday.

2011 Ford Escape V6 3.5 80,000 miles.

First American car I've owned, and I was hesitant to buy it. It's grown on me.

I'm constantly filling it up with people to go on roadtrips or bulky and heavy junk to take for recycling. Just last week I made two trips each time filling it with what must have been about 1/2 cubic yard of concrete after demolishing an old walkway along the side of my house. It hauled that load 10 miles and felt like any other day.

The Ioniq sounds sweet!
