Many fine chats with Ian...I'm shocked and saddened.

Wow. That's someone I've thought of as one of the originals in here. Sad to hear..

Sorry to hear of this.

I don't think I ever interacted with Ian on any of the forums, but his name seemed to crop up on various ones I visit.

My condolences to all his friends and family.

Cheers

Paul

I'm very shocked to read about Ian's passing. He was almost a fixture of this forum and Sim Outhouse. Rest in peace, Ian.

Very sad indeed. I just looked at his profile and Ian was only 55 years young. He posted 1541 times in the forum which is a number now frozen in time. Gone way too soon my friend. God Speed...

Really sad news. I will miss his comments in the banning-thread.

I'm not blowing my own horn here I just want people to understand the pain he was in. I along with a cousin of mine suffer from pancreatic cancer as well and the pain after eating is unbearable at times. This is my second year with the debilitating pain, I'm sorry he didn't catch it earlier. I wish I could have talked to him, I'm sorry for his pain and I'm sorry for the family and friends that he left behind. I'm sure he did what we all do with this and that's not eat, I've lost 120 pounds in two years. You get scared to eat, you don't want the pain so you end up not eating. That doesn't always stop the pain but it helps. I can't explain the pain any better than to say it's like being shot, the pain is almost the same but the pain never stops or it feels that way. I wish Ian the best with his new adventure.
