Using Pilot's notes

Post by Raceguy »

Hello everyone

I'm setting up the last few switches in my Mustang cockpit and need some help.

I have Panel 2 set to show the pilot's notes but have not found a button/keyboard command that can be set to turn the pages. Any ideas?

Thanks
Ed

Did you try an FSUIPC mouse macro?

Hello Ed,

Better than a mouse macro might be to use a simple text macro to increment/decrement the L:Var for the pilot's note page which is "L:NotesPage".

For the INC command, I believe you'll have to set the FSUIPC parameter value to 4 or greater to make sure you can access every page. (I say "greater" only because other A2A add-ons have more than 5 pages in the pilot's notes.) For the DEC command, the parameter value should be 0.

I take it you're reasonably au fait with FSUIPC so hope that makes sense. :)

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks guys! I do have FSUIPC but had not thought about either of those solutions.

Nick, you say that "I take it you're reasonably au fait with FSUIPC". I have learned how to spell FSUIPC reasonably well  and learned a lot about the program but using the INC/DEC commands in this manner never crossed my mind.

I will give this a try today!

Take care
Ed

Guys, it worked!!

I tried them both but found text macro to increment/decrement method easier to set up and use.

Thank you both!
