Hi,

That is something you don't see every day, but looking safe and natural at the same time. The only threat I suppose is from any hidden boulders and stones in the soil, that can damage or even puncture the floats. :shock:

Very nice. Looks like a planned landing for maintenance or winter storage to me. And I guess one major threat is the plane nosing over if the floats don't slide properly on the gras no? Nicely executed by the pilot though!

Yes, off a trailer. I understand all this is pretty routine for those who do hangar their float planes like this, not having a nearby ramp to get the thing on the trailer from the water.

I've seen a couple of videos of float planes taking off of trailers. Seems to be a very common method. And a lot of fun. Though I'm sure it's challenging. There was even a Mission for FSX for that in the Aerosoft Flight Tales addon package :wink: .
