Hi.
For a freeware it is excellent , i had the v3.12 , and a couple of days ago i installed the update v3.1405 , which has improved a lot of things , and added a changeable cutie pic on the pilots side , as well as the long awaited inst lights , and it is still beta , so more improvements to come .
regards alan. 8)

This thing is gorgeous at night. Absolutely top quality on a par with...wow, this is hard to say... Try it yourself and find out. Fly at night with the fluorescent lights only. Cannot recommend this enough.

The DC-3 v3 beta is excellent. Did not know there was a later version. Will check it out. The one I have been flying a lot lately is his freeware C-117. It uses the same cockpit as the DC-3 v2 and can use the same upgrade cockpit textures. It is faster than the DC-3 and has enough range to fly to Hawaii from the mainland.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.

I'd say this is the best freeware offering for any sim - ever. It is quite comprehensive. I highly recommend it - over at SoH.

I wanted to get in the air ASAP. This really helped. Initially it would take hours of learning doing it correctly. Now that I took it up for a spin around the airport, I want to do it correctly. I know that you cheated too. Come on admit it :)

Sixgun.
No I didn't but I have been flying the C47 for a long time.I am 79 years old today so I have probably had more time than you to learn.
Cheers Chris
