I looking for a quality sim and community

Hi All I'm an old school flight simmer.
I have been grounded for 3 years. used to fly 7 days a week, skin, terrain build and run campaigns. in IL2, and Aces High.

I have a new job and free time again I'm looking for a quality realistic sim and a ACTIVE community.

How is Battle of Britten as a sim?
Is the a strong online multiplayer community, and are the servers well populated?
Do folks fly full cockpit no icons here?
Is PC demanding?
How are the graphics?

I can't speak for multiplayer on BOB. I believe that was never a strong suit for that platform.

However there is a decent multiplayer community in IL2 Cliffs of Dover with the Team Fusion mod and Battle of Stalingrad. There is a league called Ghost Skies which I used to participate in several years ago when they still used IL2 1946 with some mods. Great fun!

From what I see the guys at Team Fusion and the relevany community are still very active with IL-2.
