Well by deleting an old install of the SST software I found, the yoke miraculously came to life when I plugged it in again and it even automatically installed the right drivers!
Problem is my trusty old quadrant is still doing its cycling on/off thing and Saitek customer support doesn't seem the fastest! Wondering if somehow plugging the old quadrant into the yoke has nuked it lol. (why am I lol-ing.......it aint no lol-ing matter!)
It ain't no yoke.

Re: It ain't no yoke.
Still haven't had the old quadrant issue fixed but did first couple of test flights tonight with yoke and it definitely helps with immersion! Flew the Cherokee and realised I have got to learn to fly again almost! Feels much less precise initially but I think thats just me getting used to it. Have full sensitivities and minimal null zones set up. Glad I got it though as does feel more realistic.
